Failed to connect to license server error

Hi ,

I’m facing “failed to connect to license server error” issue,Please advise.

Communication to License server is not fine.

Please check the log files, (Navigate to Menu , Help -> Open Logs Folder). Open the log file Appium* , you should get a connectivity failure error. Please paste the ip or server name here so that I can check out the problem.

when selecting Help option from menu, I still get “failed to connect to license server error”

Please search for Appium Studio*.log file in your machine , in my windows box its located in c:\users<USER>\AppData\Roaming\appiumstudio.

You will see following error -

main] (experitest.licenseutil.CommunityLicenseMgr) ERROR Failed to receive respond from license server
java.net.UnknownHostException: mhpfsdcush.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com

Try to ping - mhpfsdcush.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com from you box.

I am able to ping

If you are not able to ping (which is most likely the case) you will have to talk to you network team to sort this problem with your network team.

I am able to ping this [mhpfsdcush.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com] from my machine,

but I couldn’t share my IP or machine name detail due to security reason,

Could you please provide any solution?
