Capabilities required to work on Safari Browser on iOS mobiles

Hi,

Can you please share any pointers or capabilities required to launch Safari browser on iOS Devices connected to Windows machine. Is there a way we can achieve with Appium Studio?

I know that if it is pure Appium, we should have MAC machine and SafariLauncher proxy app to run Safari browser.

Sure Uday,

It’s very simple, first you need to provision your device, if you haven’t done so please visit our online guide

Then follow these steps

Step 1: On your iOS device, go to Settings -> Safari -> Advanced and activate the Web Inspector.
Step 2: Follow steps on Connecting an iOS Device to Enable non-Instrumented Mode and click OK.
Step 3: Select safari from the application manager.
