Android Emulator Support : When can we expect it?

When will Appium Studio have true support for the Android emulator ?? By true support, I mean Object Spy usage plus all the other neat things we can do when developing automation for IOS.

We are currently working on this item, and you should expect some major improvements in the 11.3 version, which will allow you to connect to cloud based emulators

for the time being, you can use Android AVD with X86 emulators with Appium Studio - we support all versions till Android API 26

after you pick it up, you can then connect it to Appium Studio by adding it as a standard device

tried this out using 11.2.23…see some issues. Hopefully this will ready for prime time in 11.3.
