11.2.23 Issue with Android

Having issues using Android emulator and Android physical with Appium Studio 11.2.23. Some observations:

  1. seen it take minutes (3 minutes) for Appium Studio to properly “reflect” the android simulator. I would assume it should be quicker.

  2. I have not been able to get Appium Studio to recognize a Android Physical Device. ADB does see the device, but Studio only sees the Android Emulator. Physical device running 7.1.1.1 Nougat. Emulator also running 7.1.1.1

Any ideas ?

regarding 1) still unclear on this one. Some emulators take longer than others to reflect.

regarding 2) operator error on my part. Didn’t realize there was a dropdown that allowed one to select the android device.
