Cannot instrument default browser

I cannot instrument default browser (Internet) on Android phone. Is there a solution for this?

Hi,

We recommend to use Chrome browser for Android, in Appium Studio Community Edition, you will see Android in the Applications list:

When you launch this Chrome Browser, you should be able to see the option to instrument.

Thank you! But does this mean I cannot automate the default browser(Internet) in android?

Hi,

We can automate but not instrument, so there certainly will be some limitations when it comes to finding certain elements.

Thanks for your reply. But to automate dont we need to access the elements of the page? In my case, while using default broswer I cannot do so.
