Appium Studio Community Studio failing to Launch after windows update

Hi There,
I am having issues launching the application. It was working well until windows updates to my PC. Can you please advice. Please find the logs below on launching SceneLauncher.

Can you try uninstalling and re-installing Appium Studio?

Hi Tom,

I reinstalled the application, and also installed into a new folder, but no luck. It is failing to launch. Just wanted to check SceneLauncher if i see anything new. its same errors as below.

can you share the full path of %appdata% and the location to which you’ve installed appium Studio?

what’s your user name in Windows \MAC, is it possible it has some non-unicode character?

Hi Tom,

I just launched the application now from the same folder from earlier installation, and it is opening for me. Not sure what fixed it. :slight_smile:

I have this installed in my company laptop on which i do not have any control over security updates etc.,

But in my personal PC i had no issues with the Appium studio launch even after the windows updates.
